Guy started his legal career as a Police Officer before swapping sides. He says that he was liked in the community but that may have something to do with his not being arrest happy!
After graduating from Bond University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree, Guy completed his Articles of Clerkship in Melbourne and was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Guy then returned to Qld where he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and commenced work on the Gold Coast in the practice area of Commercial Litigation happily not having to wear thermal underwear and a wet suit during his dawn surf.
Guy practises predominantly in the areas of Property Transactions and Business Law where he has acted in a wide variety of matters and jurisdictions including business transactions, leasing, drafting commercial agreements and complex property transactions.
Guy loves Rugby League and is a committed life-long supporter of the mighty Sydney Roosters NRL team.
