Nikki has experience in Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property and Employment Law, having managed a successful skilled-worker recruitment business. Her knowledge with Migration Law saw her become a contributor to the 2008 Northern Territory Law Handbook.

Nikki completed a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws degree through Charles Darwin University and the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the College of Law, Queensland. Born and raised in the Philippines, Nikki is fluent in Tagalog (Filipino) and has a strong understanding of cultural sensitivities and the nuances of doing business in Asia.

Passionate about animal welfare, Nikki actively campaigns for the RSPCA, and prior to relocating to Brisbane, she sat on the board of RSPCA Darwin Inc., and is on the pro-bono panel of BLEATS (Brisbane Lawyers Educating and Advocating for Tougher Sentences).
